Internet Speed Test checks ping, download and upload directly in Chrome. The extension measures connection quality to ShiftShift test endpoints and lets you copy or download a PNG result card without leaving the page you are working on. Use it before video calls, streaming, gaming, file uploads, support tickets, hotel WiFi or home network troubleshooting when you need a quick view of the route to ShiftShift. ⚡ See the core metrics: ping latency, download speed, upload speed and a clear Mbps summary. 🔒 Privacy and limits: the test runs in your browser and contacts only ShiftShift test endpoints. Upload uses synthetic test data, not your files, and the server discards the request body after counting bytes. 🌐 This is not an ISP line certification. WiFi quality, VPN/proxy routing, region, device load and network congestion can change the numbers. ⏱️ Cancel a running test, watch ping, download and upload progress in real time, then copy or download the PNG card. Open the tool through ShiftShift by pressing Shift twice, using Cmd+Shift+P on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows and Linux, or clicking the extension icon in the browser toolbar. Privacy: ShiftShift collects limited usage data and sanitized error reports by default to improve reliability. Page content and user input are excluded. You can turn telemetry off for all ShiftShift extensions in Settings.
